The goal of our guidelines, bylaws and covenants is to create a neighborhood centered around a passion for the outdoors, an interest in creating community and a neighborhood of refuge and relaxation. 

The covenants are there to maintain the community in a manner consistent with what owners expect and agree to when they purchase property here. 

The intent of the design guidelines is to create a community image, one that recalls but builds upon the ranching traditions of the Colorado west. The partnership between the homeowner and the Design Review Committee of High Chaparral Ranch is intended to achieve a harmony between the ideal and the buildable, while maintaining the image of the community and fostering a contemporary approach to design, construction and environmental responsibility.
